Hi! I’m Anna – founder of Knoxvilla Farm.
Toronto 2014 was when I first tasted a bakery granola that blew grocery-store brands out of the water. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to develop a perfect granola recipe of my own. Experimentation started with a bowl, a big spoon, and a family of critics. Eventually, as batch after batch started to disappear from our kitchen in a matter of days (or hours!), I knew I had it figured out… a little sweet, flavourful, nutritious, and hugely addictive.
In 2018, my family moved out of the Big Smoke and into an old red-brick farmhouse in the rolling Northumberland Hills. We discovered a friendly, welcoming community with a vibrant local food, arts and crafts scene.
When the pandemic interfered with my usual summer job, I applied for the Ontario Summer Company Program to turn my granola craft into a business. What I thought would be merely a summer enterprise is still going strong, and my sister and mom have joined the team!
Our granola is always popular at local farmers markets. It’s also sold at quality retailers in Port Hope, Millbrook and Cobourg, and we ship orders across Ontario from our website. We have continued to create, and along with the original Anna’s Best, we now offer Chai Spice, Lemon Poppyseed, Almond Apricot, and Chocolate Cherry (seasonal)!
Using quality plant-based ingredients, we strive to make the county’s best granola that you can enjoy knowing there’s no overprocessed grains or refined sugars. We craft simple, wholesome, and delicious granola, gently roasted and stirred by hand. Hope you enjoy!
